While the closed beta for Tom Clancy's The Division 2 has just ended, it looks like there's a public beta on the way.

The tidbit was mentioned in a livestream for The Division 2, where one of the developers ever so casually refers to an "open beta". If you failed to get in on the Private Beta the weekend just gone, then this is the ideal chance to get in on the action. You can also experience the revamped "Dark Zone East" for a chance to get your hands on rare gear, and fight in "Skirmish" mode against other players. However, one host inadvertently spilled the beans on an open beta test.

Tom Clancy's The Division 2 launches on PS4, PC and Xbox One March 15.

BBC cameraman assaulted in 'violent attack' at Donald Trump rally
The cameraman told the BBC that the "very hard shove" came out of nowhere. "The man was removed by security and Ron is fine". Speaking to a packed stadium that holds about 8,000 in El Paso, Trump slammed the 'dishonest media'.

As for us here at DualShockers, we've been able to go hands-on with The Division 2 quite frequently the past few months and have come away generally positive from all of our play sessions.

Set seven months on from the first game's NY outbreak, The Division 2 transports you to a "fractured and collapsing" Washington D.C., as humanity faces its biggest crisis in history. Since no open beta has been announced yet, this is probably the first time we're hearing of it. This happened with Anthem and it will also happen with The Division 2.
