Along with the poster, he wrote, "Unraveling the pages of history to the bravest battle ever fought". We also see a man's hand holding a chakram (circular weapon), which appears to be that of Akshay Kumar, who is ready to fight against them. "Presenting the first one from the glimpses of Kesari", Akshay wrote while sharing the video. The poster us a glimpse into the mind of the brave-heart who was sent into the battlefield by Britishers with just 20 soldiers.

Kesari is based on the battle of Saragarhi of 1897, in which 21 Sikh soldiers of the British Indian Army went head-to-head with thousands of Afghani tribesmen in Saragarhi in the North-West Frontier Province. Soon after its release, the post of Khiladi Kumar started getting a lot of positive replies for the first synopsis of Kesari.
