Police arrested Sutherland on Tuesday and announced a day later the biggest development in the Hacienda HealthCare case since a female patient no one knew was pregnant gave birth December 29. The surprise birth late last month triggered reviews by state agencies, highlighted safety concerns for patients who are severely disabled or incapacitated and led to disciplinary actions and resignations of staffers and managers.

After authorities ordered all of the men who worked at HealthCare facility submit to DNA tests, they determined Sutherland, 36, was a match to the baby. "We owed this arrest to the newest member of our community - that innocent baby", Phoenix Police Chief Jeri Williams told the Associated Press. Sutherland was booked on one count each of sexual assault and vulnerable adult abuse.

He declined to speak with police, investigators said.

During an interview with about the rap duo he formed with his sister, Sleeplesssouljaz, Sutherland mentioned the pair's impoverished upbringing in an orphanage in Haiti. Arizona's governor is looking into whether the state can remove the board of directors of a long-term care facility where a nurse is accused of raping an incapacitated woman who later gave birth.

The couple does not have any children; Sutherland has two children from his first marriage. He has not yet entered a plea.

Sutherland says that he and his were adopted by a Christian family in Arizona.

And they indicated that their adoptive parents weren't the most loving. "[There] you're blessed if you have one bowl of rice a day". They have never from the birth canal to now have never had anything handed over to them on a silver platter. "Learning that nothing is free in life but with hard work, dedication, commitment, and consistency was no joke", the siblings said.
