  • Nurse charged with rape of woman in coma who gave birth unexpectedly

"I keep thinking over and over in my head, 'Did I miss anything? I had a good, professional working relationship with him, friendly, outgoing, very nice", Riggers told KTAR News 92.3 FM's Mac & Gaydos on Thursday.

Police arrested Sutherland on Tuesday and announced a day later the biggest development in the Hacienda HealthCare case since a female patient no one knew was pregnant gave birth December 29. Phoenix Police Chief Jeri Williams said on January 23, 2019, that investigators arrested Sutherland on one count of sexual assault and one count of vulnerable adult abuse.

"But you can't stop what you were made to do", Sutherland said about making music, adding that he started writing songs at the age of 10.

"He's afraid. Not all the time but every once in a while, and he's expressed that", Gomez said about her son.

"I can't believe it", Burr said.

Eleanora Riggers, who said she worked at the long-term care facility as a respiratory therapist from 2005 to 2016, said Sutherland, who was a licensed practical nurse at the facility, was a good guy and a professional employee.

The surprise birth late last month triggered reviews by state agencies, highlighted safety concerns for patients who are severely disabled or incapacitated and led to disciplinary actions and resignations of staffers and managers.

After authorities ordered all of the men who worked at HealthCare facility submit to DNA tests, they determined Sutherland, 36, was a match to the baby. "We owed this arrest to the newest member of our community - that innocent baby", Phoenix Police Chief Jeri Williams told the Associated Press. Sutherland was booked on one count each of sexual assault and vulnerable adult abuse.

He declined to speak with police, investigators said.

After throwing out a few "thank yous", she admitted to forgetting what had been in her speech notes and wrapped things up quickly. After that display of power tennis, a simple, chipper "hello" would need to suffice for the millions of fans watching worldwide.

During an interview with about the rap duo he formed with his sister, Sleeplesssouljaz, Sutherland mentioned the pair's impoverished upbringing in an orphanage in Haiti. Sutherland became a naturalized citizen in 2011 and has resided in Arizona since 1993. An online database shows Sutherland has since voluntarily surrendered his nursing license. The academy is now closed.

CNN reached out to Hacienda officials for comment Friday but has received no response.

Sutherland had been assigned to the "Intermediate Care Facility-Intellectually Disabled" since 2014, the company stated.

Arizona's governor is looking into whether the state can remove the board of directors of a long-term care facility where a nurse is accused of raping an incapacitated woman who later gave birth.

The couple does not have any children; Sutherland has two children from his first marriage. He has not yet entered a plea.

Sutherland says that he and his were adopted by a Christian family in Arizona.

And they indicated that their adoptive parents weren't the most loving. "[There] you're blessed if you have one bowl of rice a day". They have never from the birth canal to now have never had anything handed over to them on a silver platter. "Learning that nothing is free in life but with hard work, dedication, commitment, and consistency was no joke", the siblings said.
