  • Kevin Hart posts message about growth in ongoing Oscars drama

"I want to thank my family/friends/fans for supporting me & riding with me all this time.I will be sure to make this years [sic] Oscars a special one". I think that in the times that we're living in, we have to be understanding and accepting of people and change. The show will happen on February 24.

During a Monday afternoon episode of SiriusXM's "Straight from The Hart", the comedian said he apologized for "remarks that hurt members of the LGBTQ community" that came to light in December after he was selected to host the 2019 Academy Awards.

The comedian appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show last week where he addressed the backlash to his tweets, calling it "a malicious attack" to end his career.

Despite a passionate plea from Ellen DeGeneres on her show, Kevin Hart has made a decision to not host the Academy Awards.

According to Entertainment Tonight, DeGeneres told Hart that she had been in touch with the head of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences in order "to ask if they'd take him back". She says its reps instantly replied that they still wanted the funnyman to be the night's MC.

It contains Turing architecture and is reportedly 60% faster on current titles than its predecessor , the GTX 1060. Pricing , configurations, and availability will vary depending on regions and partners, Nvidia said.

Hart was binned as Oscars host after a litany of his homophobic tweets resurfaced, and Andy and Sandra let rip with some thinly-veiled barbs.

Ellen revealed she had spoken to Academy bosses and asked Kevin if he would consider returning to host, a conversation that sparked a backlash from members of the gay community, including top US newsman Don Lemon, who said the star had failed to atone sufficiently for his past remarks. Lemon responded, "Walking away right now, that is your choice, but many of us really need to keep the conversation going".

Kevin added, "I'm not debating right from wrong. What does that mean?' And then they break down the way things should be said".

Hart also said he was on the side of "equality" but that it's important for "people to have their own personal beliefs". "He can help change homophobia in the black community".

Since then, there hasn't been any word from the Academy, with Deadline reporting that their, "highly reliable sources" indicating that no one in Hollywood is interested in hosting, after the, 'Hart debacle'. "No, they weren't "haters" who came after you".
