  • Disneyland raising prices cheapest daily ticket over $100

Off-peak daily tickets start at $109, with regular daily tickets starting at $129 and peak-demand daily tickets at $149.

Disney noted that it's now offering two limited-time promotional offers - one expressly for Southern California residents.

Less than a year ago, Disney raised prices by up to 18 percent.

Crowd control will be even more of a challenge with the introduction of the "Star Wars" lands this summer.

In June, Disneyland is expected to unveil its elaborate $1 billion Star Wars-themed land, called Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge, which will feature two attractions on 14 acres.

Disneyland spokeswoman Liz Jaeger said in a statement, "We continue to provide our guests with a variety of ticket offerings to meet their needs, while helping us to spread visitation, better manage demand and deliver a great experience". In 2016, Disneyland launched a demand-based pricing scheme that offers lower prices on days that are less in demand and higher prices for popular days like weekends and holidays.

But their latest price-points will see the cost of some tickets, annual passes and parking reflect an increase of a staggering 25 percent - with the cheapest tickets now costing more than $100. It now costs $15 versus last year's $10 pricing, making it more expensive to experience the 'Happiest Place on Earth'. Monthly payments for the season passes can run as high as $103, not including the down payment. That will cost you a whopping $1,949 - and that's a 23 percent bump from a year ago. Daily parking will increase by 25% to $25.

The price of other passes, which allow visitors to visit other parks on the same or visit the same park on multiple days, also went up.
