One of the most anticipated films of the upcoming year URI starring Vicky Kaushal gives an insight into the first ever surgical strike by the Indian army.
The actor along with the makers posted the trailer release date recently on his social media.

The trailer opens with the attack on the Indian army base and slowly builds up the narrative (and the retaliation team) towards the eventual surgical strike. In the trailer, we will also see Paresh Rawal who will be heading the surgical strikes, and giving orders to Vicky Kaushal to not give up and move towards a New India, a country that doesn't remain silent.
On September 18, 2016, terrorists attacked the camp in Uri in Kashmir and killed 19 soldiers. Around 11 days post the attack, the Indian government decided to make the attackers take their own medicine and conducted a "surgical strike" across the border. Yami Gautam essays the role of an intelligence officer. Vicky has been promoting his film quite efficiently by putting up the first look, then the teaser and reminders in the run up to the release of the trailer.
