  • Turkish TV airs VIDEO of missing journalist walking into Saudi consulate black van leaving

The men checked into hotels and left Turkey later that night. The Turkish leader rejected commenting on allegations that Khashoggi was killed at the consulate, but said he was anxious, Efe news reported.

Saudi Arabia denies this.

Turkish officials fear he was killed inside the building and his body removed.

Khashoggi disappeared last week after entering the Saudi consulate in Istanbul. She later stated that she did not trust the information and did not know Khashoggi's whereabouts.

"Although I can't go into intelligence matters, I can definitively say that we had no knowledge in advance of Mr Khashoggi's disappearance", Palladino told reporters.

He added that he spoke with the Saudis about what he called a "bad situation", but he did not disclose details.

Ned Price, a former Obama administration official, said he did not "foresee a strategic reorientation" in U.S. -Saudi ties unless Congress forces the administration's hand.

Two senior Turkish officials said on Wednesday that Khashoggi was wearing an Apple Watch when he entered the Saudi diplomatic mission and that the object was connected to a mobile phone he left outside the mission.

The Sabah newspaper, which is close to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, published images of what it referred to as an "assassination squad" apparently taken at passport control.

Turkish media have identified 15 Saudis, including some officials, who made a mysterious one-day trip from Riyadh to Istanbul the day Khashoggi vanished at the consulate. Some have been incredulous at its denials of wrongdoing and contention it has no recorded video footage from the consulate showing Khashoggi, who had been living in self-exile in Virginia for the past year. The channel said the van then drove some 2 kilometers (1.2 miles) to the consul's home, where it parked inside a garage.

Khashoggi visited the consulate without an appointment on Friday, September 28.

Netflix Adds 7 Million Subscribers, Beats Estimates, Sends Stock Soaring 12%
The company on Tuesday reported that far more people signed up for its video-streaming service in the third quarter than expected. One of which is Netflix which is clearly one of the most popular (if not, the most popular) home TV subscription service.

Khashoggi's disappearance also raises questions about whether recent U.S. policy toward the Saudis has emboldened them.

Saudi Arabia called the accusations "baseless". "It is (the duty) of the consulate officials", Erdogan said during a visit to Hungary. They claimed that senior Saudi officials had approached the journalist with offers of protection - including a government job in at least one case - if he would return to his native country.

Another man on the list, Salah Muhammed al-Tubaigy, is reported to be a lieutenant-colonel and head of the Saudi Scientific Council of Forensics. The station did not cite a source for its report.

He said earlier on "Fox & Friends" that "we have investigators over there and we're working with Turkey" and with Saudi Arabia on the case, but he provided no evidence or elaboration.

In an op-ed in the Post on Wednesday, Khashoggi's fiancee Hatice Cengiz-who was waited for him outside the consulate but says he never came out-said she believes he is still alive but implored "President Trump and first lady Melania Trump to help shed light on Jamal's disappearance". "Our expectation is that in making your determination you will consider any relevant information, including with respect to the highest ranking officials in the government of Saudi Arabia".

USA technology investor Steve Case said he was putting his plans to speak at the conference and attend a separate meeting on a Saudi tourism project on hold "pending further information" on Khashoggi. He returned there October 2 after being promised the necessary paperwork so the two could be married. "I also urge Saudi Arabia, especially King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, to show the same level of sensitivity and release CCTV footage from the consulate". "Although this incident could potentially fuel a political crisis between the two nations, let us not lose sight of the human aspect of what happened".

The 59-year-old contributor to the Washington Post spent last year in the U.S.in self-imposed exile after he fled Saudi Arabia amid a crackdown on intellectuals and activists who criticized the policies of Prince Mohammed.

Secretary of State Mike Pompeo then had a follow-up call with the crown prince to reiterate the U.S. request for information and a thorough, transparent investigation.

Turkey said Tuesday it would search the Saudi Consulate.

"Is it possible there were no camera systems in a consulate, in an embassy?"
