Turkey interested in investigating Khashoggi's disappearance

Khashoggi disappeared last week after entering the Saudi consulate in Istanbul. She later stated that she did not trust the information and did not know Khashoggi's whereabouts.
"Although I can't go into intelligence matters, I can definitively say that we had no knowledge in advance of Mr Khashoggi's disappearance", Palladino told reporters.

The channel said the van then drove some 2 kilometers (1.2 miles) to the consul's home, where it parked inside a garage.
Khashoggi visited the consulate without an appointment on Friday, September 28.
Khashoggi's disappearance also raises questions about whether recent U.S. policy toward the Saudis has emboldened them.
Saudi Arabia called the accusations "baseless". "It is (the duty) of the consulate officials", Erdogan said during a visit to Hungary. They claimed that senior Saudi officials had approached the journalist with offers of protection - including a government job in at least one case - if he would return to his native country.
Another man on the list, Salah Muhammed al-Tubaigy, is reported to be a lieutenant-colonel and head of the Saudi Scientific Council of Forensics. The station did not cite a source for its report.
