  • Nokia 7.1 Plus stops by Geekbench ahead of its announcement tomorrow - GSMArena.com news

The cool banana-shaped slider phone has now been launched in India at an event in the country today, alongside the Nokia 3.1 Plus. In the sub-Rs 15,000 price point, we have the likes of Tecno Camon i2X, Vivo Y81 and the Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro, with the first two retailing around the same price of the Nokia 3.1 Plus. The phone will be available across offline stores and Nokia's e-store online.

The company's second smartphone Nokia 8110 comes with 4G LTE connectivity, has a curved back design and slide-out keyboard cover. The Nokia 5.1 Plus is an Android One-branded smartphone that runs Android 8.1 Oreo.

In terms of specifications, the Nokia 3.1 Plus features a 6-inch HD+ IPS notchless display. It comes in two variants - 2GB RAM and 16GB storage and 3 GB RAM with 32 GB storage. It includes an internal storage of 32GB which can be further expanded up to 400GB via microSD card.

39 kids in NY have had virus linked to polio-like illness
Between August 2014 and August 2018, the CDC received information on a total of 362 confirmed cases of AFM nationwide. There is no specific treatment for AFM, but a neurologist may recommend certain interventions on a case-by-case basis.

On the imaging duties, the device features a dual rear camera setup, including a 13MP f/2.0 camera along with PDAF lens and a 5MP f/2.4 monochrome sensor and fixed focus lens. There's an 8MP front facing camera with an aperture of f/2.2 which resides next to the earpiece. The box doesn't specify the exact resolution, but the display could have a 720p resolution which is usually 720 x 1520 pixels. And you'll have enough performance for everything from AR gaming to streaming, thanks to the powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 mobile platform.

Coming to the camera department, the Nokia 8110 4G features a 2MP primary camera with an LED flash. The front camera also seems slow in processing information, resulting in blurred images.

However, the glass back from other models is replaced by polycarbonate with a matte finish, in blue, white and baltic color options. The Nokia 6.1 Plus and 5.1 Plus with 3,060mAh battery gave us a full day worth of battery life, so it would be safe to assume the Nokia 3.1 Plus will offer more. The device goes on sale from 19 October.
