Instagram is toughening its approach against hateful posts with new artificial intelligence capable of detecting bullying in photos and their captions.

Instagram has revealed new tools that target bullying and other hurtful content, the aim being to reduce negative interactions on the site and improve the experience for everyone. "We're also introducing a camera effect to help spread kindness in Stories".

According to a spokesperson, the new tech will be able to detect bullying in photos and captions.

If a human moderator deems the photo is in breach of the platform's community guidelines, the photo will be removed, and the poster will be notified of its deletion and told why.

The tool - according to the company - will be more beneficial in removing bullying.

Princess Beatrice arrived in Windsor with her parents, Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson . The queen will then host a reception for the couple and their guests at the castle.

Let's face it: Online bullying has become common with the growing popularity of social networking platforms like Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

Recently, Mosseri replaced Instagram co-founders Kevin Systrom and Mike Krieger as the new head who abruptly announced their departure in September.

The feature has already started rolling out and will continue rolling out over the next few weeks. If you follow Ziegler, you get the effect automatically. In selfie mode, hearts will appear on the screen. Do you agree with the use of artificial intelligence in wiping out inappropriate comments or photos on the social media app?

Additionally, the platform is expanding its bullying comment filter to hide crude comments from the Feed, Explore, and Profile tabs, as well as live videos (above)-"to ensure that Live remains a safe and fun place to authentically connect with your friends and interests", Mosseri wrote. The technology that enables such detection was surveyed previous year by Wired, which highlighted the company's inner attempts at machine-learning comment filters. In rear mode, kind comments in different languages will appear. Users can also turn off comments on individual Instagram posts and block posts with certain keywords.
