Wojnarowski reports that the Heat are still interested in restarting talks with Minnesota to acquire Butler, who is entering the final year of his contract and plans to leave in free agency if not traded. While the Miami Heat are first on his list of landing spots, the Houston, Texas native has been part of numerous trade conversations, but no agreement has been reached. After Towns received the entry pass, Butler yelled, "He can't do [expletive] against me!"

Proposed changes from Minnesota created a breakdown in earlier trade negotiations just as the teams were close to finalizing a deal.

Butler was reportedly vociferous and emotional at times in targeting Tom Thibodeau, Scott Layden, Karl-Anthony Towns and Andrew Wiggins. Yesterday, Butler reportedly informed Wolves coach Tom Thibodeau that he still wants to be traded, per The Athletic's Shams Charania and Jon Krawczynski.

Jimmy Butler participated in practice with the Minnesota Timberwolves on Wednesday and verbally challenged teammates, coaches and the front office.

Despite his owner's intent to deal Butler, Thibodeau wasn't done trying to keep his star shooting guard. Owner Glen Taylor has been adamant about getting Jimmy Butler out of Minnesota and instead of following those orders weeks ago, Thibs has let Butler back on the court.

The 28-year-old princess, who is ninth in line to the throne, is due to marry liquor company executive Brooksbank Friday in St. Prince Andrew , now 7th in line to the throne, divorced Ferguson amicably in 1996 after a decade-long marriage.

The most talked-about National Basketball Association star over the past month left his teammates speechless.

But at Wednesday's practice, Wojnarowski reported, Butler turned to Layden during a scrimmage and screamed "you (bleeping) need me".

ESPN's Amin Elhassan said on "The Jump" Wednesday afternoon that Butler led the team's third-stringers in a scrimmage against their starters - and beat them. He dominated the gym in every way. "That's really all I got to say about that".
