Jay Ajayi's season-ending injury means that the Philadelphia Eagles could be in the market for a running back.
According to a report from 97.5 The Fanatic in Philadelphia, the Buffalo Bills are asking for both a second- and third-round pick in exchange for running back LeSean McCoy.
It would be a homecoming of sorts for McCoy, who spent his first six seasons in the National Football League with Philadelphia.
McCoy is off to a slow start with Buffalo this season, and he is scheduled to count roughly $9 million against the salary cap in 2019.
Ruby Rose Makes Batwoman Debut In New Full Costume Pics
Once established, Batwoman will receive her own standalone series overseen by Greg Berlanti, and scripted by Caroline Dries . Though the iconic comic-book city has been mentioned time and time again in the Arrowverse , it never appeared on screen.
Apparently, however, the Eagles have no plans to pursue Bell.
The Eagles now have just over $4.3 million in cap space. This year he's been banged up on a bad Bills team, rushing for just 170 yards in four games.
All of which had speculation running rampant Monday that Philadelphia might try to swing a trade for Le'Veon Bell.
Although the Eagles didn't specify the injury, Ajayi tore his ACL and will miss the rest of the season, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter. So if he's not the primary trade target for the Eagles now, he's a solid fallback option if Bell is genuinely available but is deemed to be more risky overall. A falling out with then-head coach Chip Kelly brought a trade to Buffalo, but Howie Roseman has been back in a prominent personnel role and a different head coach should eliminate any lingering ill will from McCoy.
