Kanye West will meet with President Donald Trump and his son-in-law Jared Kushner at the White House on Thursday.

Kanye's wife, Kim Kardashian West, already visited the White House to work with Trump on the successful pardon of Alice Johnson, a non-violent drug offender who spent years in jail until Kardashian intervened.

Mr West, who is married to Kim Kardashian, wore a hat with Donald Trump's slogan "Make America Great Again" during his performance on the United States comedy show Saturday Night Live a few weeks ago. The report indicates West is meeting with Kushner and Trump to discuss similar issues, as Kushner has been tasked with overseeing criminal justice reform for the White House.

West's White House meeting, though not going over well with his anti-Trump fans, isn't a first for the Kanye household.

The two men are expected to discuss prison reform, gang violence and and manufacturing resurgence in the US.

The president soon after tweeted his support of West.

West's first meeting, before he sees Trump, will be with Kushner. Previously, West revealed that he was encouraging Colin Kaepernick to sit down with the President.

West also made headlines last month for a pro-Trump speech at the end of his appearance on "Saturday Night Live", which didn't make the air.

"I would like to thank President Trump for his time this afternoon". The sports apparel giant's head has shared his support for Yeezy despite mixed social media feelings toward the hip-hop star.

"I think uniting people is essentially important. Ninety percent of news is liberal-90 percent of TV, L.A., New York, writers, rappers, musicians-so it's easy to make it seem like it's so, so, so one-sided".

Beyonce, 37, and Jay, 48, are "sick" of all the positive things West has said about Trump. "This represents to me [is], y'all can't bully me".
