  • Android P will land on August 20, according to EVLeaks

In the preview tests, Google used a range of Android devices that have been popular in 2018, such as flagship phones from this and previous year from brands such as OnePlus, Xiaomi, Oppo, Sony, Vivo, Essential, Nokia, and of course its very own Google Pixel models.

Industry leaker Evan Blass has posted a tweet suggesting that Android P will be released on 20 August 2018, CNET reported. Those who have Pixel phones are in luck because the process is as easy as heading over to the Android Beta Program website and signing up to receive beta software. Between project treble and an early beta, manufacturers have plenty of time to prepare P updates for their phones. Google is widely anticipated to push the new Android OS final build first to its Pixel smartphones. However, it has been various beta versions of Android P, as the next version of Google's mobile operating system is still in development.

Google's new Android P is the latest buzz in the tech world since Thursday. Going by the convention, Google will hunt for a well-known desert name starting with P. Google's goal for Android P is to streamline the user interface so that customers can easily find and use apps and complete tasks.
