New photo of Prince George released to mark his 5th birthday

Many happy returns of the day to Prince George!

The photograph was taken in the gardens of Clarence House by Matt Porteous, after the christening of the his baby brother Louis earlier this month.

The christening ceremony included two hymns, two lessons and two anthems. And the old saying even applies to royals!

His dad was also nine months old when he made his first trip to Australia and New Zealand.

Prince George meets a bilby called George at the Bilby Enclosure, named for the prince, at Sydney's Taronga Zoo on April 20.

The little prince marked the occasion with a low-key party at his family home at Kensington Palace.

George was photographed with a rocking horse that Obama had given him when he was born.

Proud mom Kate captured a photo of a beaming George in January 2016 when he started nursery school.

The youngster has just completed his first year at school, attending Thomas's Battersea in south London.
