  • Man finds wife and 'her lover' dead of carbon monoxide poisoning

Police are investigating after a New Jersey woman and her mechanic, alleged to have been her lover, were found dead of apparent carbon monoxide poisoning.

Johnson made the awful discovery after coming home from work Monday and smelling gas at the apartment complex in Newark, Nj., where he lived. It seems that they started getting freaky in the garage, while the engine of the auto was running, and they died before they even realized what was happening to them, People Magazine reports.

'And pretty much I had to call 911, because at this time, with that level of emissions, I knew that they were gone'.

Sources say the wife and the mechanic were having sex in a vehicle in the garage when they were both killed by the poison gas. However, they believe they are accidental deaths, AP reported.

Hurricane Chris to bring heavy rain, strong winds to Newfoundland
While it will stay well offshore, rough surf and rip currents remain likely along the middle and upper East Coast. The storm could bring as much as 6 inches of rain and localized flash flooding to Newfoundland, forecasters said.

Authorities are not releasing the names of the victims but ABC 7 reports that the woman's name was Tameka Hargrave.

Law enforcement sources said they believed the wife was paying for her auto work by having sex with the mechanic. 39-year-old USA citizen Tameka Hargrave was discovered near her vehicle. I want her to see me graduate high school. "She was everything to me".

Her distraught daughter Khalisha Johnson told CBS2: 'I just want my mother back. "They have cameras and stuff. My mother could still be alive".

Johnson is blaming the apartment complex for not having adequate Carbon dioxide alarm systems. As the New York Post reported, the girl's 22-year-old partner turned on the vehicle so the couple could keep warm, and she was overcome by carbon monoxide.
