  • Nawaz Sharif’s brother Shahbaz says it is painful to see PM Modi attending G20 summit

While talking to the reporters, Hussain Nawaz told, " Ami has opened her eyes after one month". "She looked around after opening her eyes".

He further said it is very painful for him to see Prime Minister Narendra Modi attending G20 summit and all we can do is watch. Still not conscious and on the ventilator.

The photograph, which was tweeted by a Pakistani journalist, and retweeted by Nawaz Sharif's daughter, shows Maryam breaking down as her father Nawaz Sharif keeps his hand on Begum Kulsoom's forehead, hours before they head to the airport to return to Pakistan, where they would be arrested upon arrival.

"They are coming home and I would not let them go to jail".

Nawaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz arrived in London prior to Eid-ul-Fitr and are now there due to Kulsoom Nawaz's prolonged illness.

Besides arrests, the Lahore administration has also seized several containers and placed them on the main arteries of the city to discourage the PML-N workers from reaching the airport where Nawaz and Maryam would likely land at around 5.15pm in the evening, a week after their conviction.

A Pakistani accountability court on Friday sentenced Sharif in absentia to 10 years in prison for corrupt practices linked to his family's purchase of upscale London flats.

Cleveland Browns: Adding another corner in the Supplemental Draft?
The draft is conducted via email after the order is determined using a weighted lottery system based on last year's standings. That turn of events angered several other teams and directly led to a change in the way the Supplemental Draft is conducted.

The Cabinet Division has reportedly allocated two helicopters - reserved for the prime minister - to NAB to shift Sharif and his daughter to the jail from the airport. They will then be taken to Islamabad by helicopter and ferried to Adiala jail.

Demanding the interim Punjab government and the caretaker prime minister to "immediately release arrested workers", Rafique said his party would announce its next plan of action should the arrested workers not be released by noon on Thursday.

A police official who asked not to be identified said more than 100 PML-N workers had been detained.

Lamenting that the party is not being allowed to campaign and is "being pushed against the wall", Shehbaz said, "No one complain to me later if we are not given a level playing field".

Meanwhile, deputy inspector general (DIG) Lahore Shahzad Akbar said that "emergency steps" are being taken to ensure that the July 25 polls are held in a peaceful environment following the suicide attack in Peshawar which claimed the lives of 21, including Awami National Party (ANP) leader Barrister Haroon Bilour. He has urged upon all party workers to join the rally.

"The caretaker setup is a salaried puppet", he said. His brother Shehbaz became PML-N's president, but Sharif remains the power behind the throne. Both were convicted and sentenced to prison last week for corruption.
