Rodriguez reportedly has a broken cheek bone, broken ribs and has suffered bruises all over his body.

Rodolfo Rodriguez said that he passed a woman on his daily walk when she allegedly started hitting him with a brick and called on a group of men to join in on the attack, CNN reported.

LASD tells FOX 11 they are investigating this case and they believe Rodriguez was attacked from behind. She said she saw a woman with the girl push Rodriguez and beat him with a brick.

As Borjas dialed 911 for help, more men came onto the scene to further harm Rodriguez, even though he was already on the ground. She also says the woman and the other attackers made racial comments to Rodriguez.

Rodolfo Rodriguez, 92, is seen in a Los Angeles hospital after sustaining a broken cheekbone and bruising in a beating on July 4, 2018, by unknown assailants in the Willowbrook neighborhood.

"We are concerned, especially with the type of crime they committed", he told KTLA-TV. "He is doing really bad, has a lot of bruises on his face and a broken cheekbone", the grandson wrote.

Smartphone maker Xiaomi's weak Hong Kong debut casts shadow on tech listings
Xiaomi had been expected to raise up to $10 billion, split between its Hong Kong and a mainland offering. Aside from global market concerns, investors are said to have been unsure of Xiaomi's ecosystem story.

The woman who took the video says he was struck with a piece of concrete several times in the head. "I heard her saying: 'Go back to your own country, go back to Mexico, '" she said. "How can you hurt a 92-year-old man?"

The witness said she took her phone out and got a photo of the woman, who appears to be holding a piece of concrete as her child stands nearby. "What kind of threat does he pose to you, for you to do this to him?" his grandson Erik Mendoza asked.

It looks like Rodriguez's family has launched a GoFundMe campaign to help pay for his medical bills and raised $31,037 - more than double their original $15,000 goal - in just two days.

There are slight discrepancies in reporting now, as to whether three or four men joined the African American woman in beating Rodriguez, and as to whether all of them were African American. "She see me in my auto and walking to me and she told me, 'Oh, what are you doing?"

He said the altercation began when he and the female suspect's child collided while they were walking near each other near the intersection of 118th Street and Central Avenue.
