Noel Cintron sued the tycoon-turned-president's business, the Trump Organization, in a NY state court. The statute of limitations bars him from suing for uncompensated work beyond that time period.

The Trump Organization confirmed that Cintron was an employee but said he had been paid "generously" and that the company would win in court.

Noel Cintron, 59, is suing the Trump Organization in court in Manhattan for 3,300 hours of overtime that he says he worked in the past six years, totalling around $178,000 (£135,000).

While the suit doesn't name Trump personally as a defendant, it accuses him of "callousness and cupidity".

Trump didn't give Cintron a raise in over 12 years - and even yanked health insurance worth almost $18,000 a year, according to court papers.

In addition to the unpaid overtime, Cintron claims the Trump Organization failed to provide annual wage notices as required by NY law.

A sweet moment of a little boy receiving his very own World Cup after completing cancer treatment is capturing hearts across the globe.

US President Donald Trump's longtime personal driver - a man who has carted the bulbous pile of congealed gravy around since the late 80s - is now suing him over alleged thousands upon thousands of hours of unpaid overtime.

Cintron said he worked as many as 55 hours per week, with shifts that could begin as early as 7 a.m., but was paid on a fixed salary.

The lawsuit also alleges that Cintron has not received a raise since 2010, when his salary was raised from $68,000 to $75,000.

The lawsuit says that Cintron was exploited, describing his treatment as being "in an utterly callous display of unwarranted privilege and entitlement and without even a minimal sense of noblesse oblige", and also pointed out the irony of working for a billionaire and being paid poorly. Cintron said this saved Trump $17,866 in annual health insurance premiums.

He didn't raise the overtime claim until now because he wasn't fully mindful of his right to it and didn't want to cause trouble at work, said one of his lawyers, Larry Hutcher.

A spokesperson for the Trump Organization did not immediately return a request for comment. Cintron is seeking about $200,000 in damages, Hutcher said.
