His debut season in LaLiga saw him score nine goals in 30 matches, one of Los Cules' top scorers.

The 24-year-old Brazilian attacking midfielder joined the club from Portuguese runners-up Benfica and was reportedly wanted by Manchester United before opting for the CSL.

"The level of the Super League has improved year by year and the development prospects are very good", Paulinho said, according to the Guangzhou Evergrande website.

Colombia's Yerry Mina is another player whose future appears uncertain at Camp Nou, with interest from Everton arising for the central defender.

Paulinho played in all of Brazil's five games in Russian Federation, scoring one goal.

Trump nears decision on replacement for Supreme Court
Falwell insisted only that Trump make his next selection from the list of prospective nominees he released before his election. He has not yet publicly indicated that he has narrowed the list and could still consider others in the mix.

However, the 29-year-old feels he has unfinished business at Guangzhou, who agreed an initial loan deal with an option to make his transfer from Barca permanent in 2019.

The club might call off the Lenglet signing and go for an European midfielder to replace Paulinho, who had added a lot of muscle to the midfield.

"I hope to bring more championships to Guangzhou and Guangzhou fans. I also hope to give The Super League more excitement!"

However, the absence of Paulinho next season could prove to be a huge blow for Ernesto Valverde's men. The move for Arthur would be complemented by Yerry Mina's departure in order to comply to the La Liga registration rules.

But, with a move to Guangzhou, the Brazilian can definitely enjoy proper game time along with a lucrative contract as he enters the final phase of his illustrious footballing career.
