However, this comparison also indicates Apple Music is more popular in the USA than Spotify.

According to a US-based music distributor, Apple Music and Spotify lead the streaming music market in the United States with over 20 million members, with Apple leading by a hairsbreadth.

Back in February, music industry analytics have predicted that Apple Music would have more paying subscribers than Spotify by the end of this year's summer. According to the report, Apple Music now holds the top spot in the United States with over 20 million subscribers. In February, The Wall Street Journal reported that Spotify's monthly paid subscriber growth rate in the USA was at 2% compared to Apple Music's 5%.

Fortnite Invites You To A Private Playground
Playground is basically an instance of the Fortnite map that will host up to four players at a time. The new mode should be in effect for players on all platforms, include mobile players on iOS.

According to the publication, the new report also indicates that Apple's growth rate in 2018 has far outpaced Spotify's, which suggests that Apple Music's lead will continue to grow in the coming months. The paper calculated that Spotify was growing at 2% per month while Apple Music was at 5%.

While we've come to acknowledge the dominance of Spotify in the music streaming space, that dominance might be diminishing ... well, at least here in the US. Spotify bests Apple in the global arena though, with more than 70 million paid subscribers worldwide, and about 160 million overall users. Apple Music, on the other hand, has only been around for three years. Spotify boasted a whopping 75 million paid subscribers as of May, shortly after the company went public.
