The premise of Cohen's mystery project seems to hinge on Trump once telling the globally successful comedian to "go to school [and] learn about being amusing", with the Trump University logo appearing just before the clip's end.
The comedian's clip then cuts to The Donald saying: "Sacha Baron Cohen, go to school, learn about being amusing", with an on-screen message that reads "Sacha Graduates Soon" and the logo of Trump University, the President's failed for-profit educational institution.
Details on the project are few and far between at the moment, but with a focus on Trump University, Baron Cohen has a lot of leeway as to just how he wants to approach it.
Trump was one of the unwitting targets of "Da Ali G" show in a 2003 episode in which Baron Cohen's character tried to pitch him on a product called ice cream gloves. When Stephanopoulos pressed Cohen about his past vow to "take a bullet" for Trump, Cohen doubled down, saying: "To be crystal clear, my wife, my daughter, and my son and this country have my first loyalty". "He ought to be fired immediately".
Sacha Baron Cohen may be reviving his long-standing feud with Donald Trump. The video then teases that Cohen, "Is back... like you've never seen him before".
Then, it switches to a Trump University logo. "Learn about being amusing", Trump continues. Some suggested that he might do the same to Cohen, long considered Trump's "fixer", but there is an apparent rift between the two. In fact, Cohen later explained, Trumpactually didn't catch on to the joke for seven whole minutes.
Cohen also gave Trump (and Daniel Radcliffe) AIDS in an admittedly pretty low-brow gag in the movie The Brothers Grimsby, with Sony, the movie's producers insisting on a disclaimer at the end of the film.
