  • Meghan Markle cream Givenchy dress with queen

The Queen and Duchess of Sussex are in Cheshire for their first royal engagement together. The 92-year-old royal donned a Stewart Parvin dress and jacket with a color-coordinated hat by Rachel Trevor Morgan.

The royal pair will set off today and spend the night on the luxury Royal Train as they travel to Cheshire for Thursday morning, according to The Sun.

The pair appear to have a close bond already and once Meghan settles in to the royal family she'll be able to start using a very surprising nickname for the monarch. The Queen and Meghan watched a musical display by young members of the Andrew Curphey Theatre Company before the monarch unveiled a plaque for the official opening of the Mersey Gateway bridge. The American-born star wore her trademark dark hair in long loose waves and subtle, natural makeup which highlighted her lovely features.

"The role that she's taken on it's very austere, it's very sort of serious and I think there's a great weight that she has. acquired through that and she takes it very seriously", she said.

The former Meghan Markle is making her first joint appearance with Queen Elizabeth II on an official royal visit to the northwest of England.

Footage from LBC shows a moment of confusion between the pair, as Meghan first offered to let the Queen get in the vehicle first, before asking Her Majesty: "What's your preference?".

Four weeks ago, Meghan married in an unembellished Givenchy haute couture wedding dress in Windsor.

They then walked through the streets of Chester to the local town hall where they attended a council lunch.

Sure, being the Duchess of Sussex comes with some perks (mostly clothing wise) but as soon as Markle said "I do" every move she will make for the rest of her public life will be analyzed.

Last weekend, the Duchess was seen looking to her husband for reassurance as she joined senior royals on the balcony of Buckingham Palace for the Trooping the Colour flypast. Meghan then climbed in first.

It is not known if they were from her personal collection or a new purchase.
