  • LeBron James speaks for NBA No one’s visiting White House

LeBron James #23 of the Cleveland Cavaliers reacts against the Golden State Warriors in Game 2 of the 2018 NBA Finals at ORACLE Arena on June 3, 2018 in Oakland, California.

When Trump canceled the Philadelphia Eagles' White House Super Bowl celebration and called out the league for its new national anthem policy, it was just the latest salvo in a 35-year war with the NFL, his oldest rival.

James called the decision by Trump "typical of him". 'It's typical of him, ' James said of Trump.

James and the Cavaliers are now down 0-2 in their best-of-seven series against the Golden State Warriors.

"I agree with LeBron", he said, viaThe Hollywood Reporter. The White House stated, "They disagree with their President because he insists that they proudly stand for the National Anthem", although no players on the team kneeled during the national anthem last season. The president disinvited the team a year ago, after Curry said the Warriors would not visit him in the White House. It would be no surprise if he rescinded the invite to either team before the series even came to an end.

"The Philadelphia Eagles are unable to come to the White House with their full team to be celebrated tomorrow", the White House released in an official statement.

"Girl in the Spider’s Web" trailer is #MeToo revenge fantasy
The popular actress is set to play Lisbeth Salander in The Girl in the Spider's Web , which is based on the book of the same name. In the trailer , Foy's character rigs a trap for such a man, who she has no qualms about shooting in the crotch with a stun gun.

Jenkins says the White House made a decision "to lie, and paint the picture that these players are anti-America, anti-flag and anti-military".

Last September, Trump withdrew an invitation to the Warriors after they beat Cleveland in last year's final following remarks from Curry saying he didn't want to attend.

Taking the podium next, Curry said, "I think I agree with 'Bron, I'm pretty sure the way we handled things past year, we'll stay consistent with that".

Of course, according to the actual people who played for the Eagles, no Eagles players knelt during the anthem during the 2017 regular season, and their reasons for passing on the White House event had nothing to do with the anthem.

The NFL Network initially reported the Eagles planned to send a small contingent of players and officials for the celebration, since numerous players did not wish to go. And in the age of social media, he said, sports stars also know they'll find support for their views online, among fans who expect to have a more personal connection with the athletes they root for. "Going to White House was a great honor until you showed up".
