The company will announce the likely name change on June 11.

After 60 years, IHOP is literally flipping its name. Via Twitter, it announced the new name will be IHOb. Now, the company is asking people to guess at what the "B" could stand for.

After 60 years as IHOP, the International House of Pancakes is about to get a new name.

Some commenters said the IHOP name change is a hoax or probably just a publicity stunt.

From breakfast and bacon to brunch, burritos, and biscuits, the options are endless!

IHOP's Twitter account is receiving comments galore about what the "b" may be.

According to the restaurants website, IHOP traces its roots back to the opening of the first International House of Pancakes restaurant in 1958 in Toluca Lake, Calif. In 1973, the company chose to shorten the name to IHOP.

The change is supposed to take place next week, but the restaurant is keeping what the "B" stands for a secret.

Last year, the chain closed 23 stores.
