  • Ga. Senator, Gov. candidate says he's starting 'Deportation Bus' tour for 'illegals'

Republican strategist Roger Stone will join the tour, scheduled to visit Georgia's sanctuary cities, as well as other potential high-profile Republicans, Williams' campaign tells Breitbart News exclusively.

It's the kind of message you don't expect to see on a U.S. election campaign bus: "FOLLOW ME TO MEXICO".

"Michael Williams - a Georgia state senator and, according to his website, the first elected official in the state to endorse Donald Trump - announced this week that he would drive a bus around the state to raise awareness of 'the overwhelming problem of illegal immigration, '" The Independent reported.

Williams insists he isn't targeting immigrants here legally.

In a campaign ad and a press release unveiling the bus, Williams said he aims to have every city in Georgia participate in 287 (g), the federal program that allows local police and sheriffs to cooperate with the feds on immigration enforcement. "We're going to put them on this bus, and send them home", Williams says in the ad.

The bus has the words "Danger murders, rapists, kidnappers, child molesters and other criminals on board" painted on the back of the bus above the words "follow me to Mexico". "We're not just going to track them and watch them roam around our state".

"It's sad we've gotten to a point where candidates from the Republican Party are using the Latino community and immigrants as a ploy to get more votes", Molina said.

Tennessee, 5 other states suing opioid maker Purdue Pharma
They allege the pharmaceutical company and opioid manufacturer played a leading role in the opioid epidemic in the Mid-South. Stamford, Connecticut-based Purdue, in a statement, denied the accusations, saying its drugs were approved by the U.S.

So-called sanctuary cities, local governments that limit cooperation with the feds on immigration, have become a lightning rod in the immigration debate.

There was also a nice moment towards the end where the hosts shared a kumbaya moment about how even when they disagree, as McCain put it, "there's a respect level here between us". Williams did not respond to a request for comment.

The campaign for Georgia state Sen.

According to a Huffington Post article, Williams was the co-chair for President Trump's presidential campaign.

Current Republican Secretary of State Brian Kemp last week promised to "round up criminal illegals" in his truck.

"If we can implement that across the state of Georgia ... that will get out people that are in this country illegally, illegal aliens, they will not want to come to Georgia".

Georgia's lieutenant governor, Casey Cagle, is expected to win the Republican primary.
