Pundits have predicted a new Burst Assault rifle will be thrown into the mix with the update for PS4, Xbox One and mobile, after being bombarded with hints as they now played Battle Royale.

At 9am United Kingdom today, Fortnite was meant to go offline for maintenance to update to patch 4.2, but many gamers noticed that never happened.

Originally kicked off on May 8th, the "Infinity Gauntlet Limited Time Mashup" has given Fortnite players the chance to play as Thanos, the villain of Marvel Studios' Avengers: Infinity War.

With this Fortnite x Avengers LTM went offline with the release of the v4.2 update, it is a shame that this glitch came into the center of attention so late in the life-span of the LTM. Fortnite INTEL reported on the new weapon and shared the image below that shows Epic Games' brief description of the new addition.

Born Episcopal bishop to preach at next Saturday's royal wedding
Bishop Curry's presence at the wedding will bring a touch of home to proceedings for Meghan, who is, of course, American herself. Curry, who was born in Chicago , was elected as the first African-American leader of the Episcopal Church in 2015.

However, those trying to complete the week 3 blockbuster challenge and get the new loading screen have noticed they can't access it.

Responding to one fan on Twitter having issues with blockbuster challenges, the Fortnite team said: "This will go live once the patch is released".

This will all be happening around 9am, BST (despite the above message saying 8am, it's all down to region time difference, you see), which, as gamers already know, will put the servers down for a while the update takes shape. These include new guns, along with the removal of the Thanos Infinity Gauntlet weapon that has been keeping players occupied.

The Fortnite season 4 Battle Pass can be purchased for 950 V-Bucks on PS4, Xbox One, Mobile, PC and Macs.
