"In case travel permission regime for Pakistani diplomats/officials is implemented by the State Department, Pakistan would be obliged to take reciprocal actions with effect from 11 May 2018", said the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in a detailed announcement. Also, they will no longer enjoy special treatment at the airport or in general. Their cargo will have to be scanned upon arrival. The ambassador said that the unprecedented restrictions would impact roughly 250 individuals.

Rules governing interaction between foreign diplomats and Pakistani officials, which were already communicated to the embassy, would also take effect, the notification said.

Persons on the list are prohibited from leaving Pakistan. American diplomats, according to the list, will now require permission before "installing radio communication at residences and safe houses". The US government has sent an official notice in this regard to the Pakistani embassy.

All diplomatic cargo will be strictly checked at the airports, and USA diplomats will be unable to use biometrically unverified cellphone sim cards, according to the notification.

In reply, Pakistan also planned to impose restrictions on US Diplomats in Karachi, Islamabad, and Lahore.

'Solo: A Star Wars Story' premiere turns Hollywood Boulevard into landing strip
A Star Wars Story was a star-studded affair, full of the Hollywood elite and fortunate media members lucky enough to attend. Critics said the movie is a amusing , "non-stop adventure" that is a "welcome addition to the " Star Wars " universe".

In April 2018, the USA administration revealed that the United States would impose restrictions on Pakistan if the Pakistani government will not provide the U.S. diplomats ease in travel.

The development came amid escalating hostile relations between USA and Pakistan, which were once allies in war on terror.

Pakistani officials have rejected the charges and maintain that their country is being scapegoated for Washington's security failures in Afghanistan.

US President Donald Trump's administration's travel regime forces Pakistani diplomats to stay within 25 miles of the city they are posted at, further straining already tense relations between the two countries who were once close allies in the war against terror.
