Harry and Meghan's photographer is Polish royalty

Meghan Markle have selected Alexi Lubomirski to take the official photographs at Windsor Castle following their wedding at St George's Chapel on 19th May. Markle has always been a fan of the New York-based photographer, who is famous for his highly styled and artistic work, and has an impressive client list including Vogue, for which he has shot a number of global cover stars.

"I could not be more thrilled or honored to photograph this historic occasion". Alexi Lubomirski also referred back to the engagement photographs he took a year ago, saying that having taken those pictures and now being able to witness the next chapter in their relationship is an honor and a joy for him. Yet the Kensington Palace's tweet only used his first and last name.

Earlier this month, Miz Markle visited El Lay so that she could spend time with friends and family before marrying Prince Harry. (Alexi Lubomirski/AAP) Lubomirski took Meghan and Harry's engagement photographs.

He has also published two photography books, donating the proceeds to Concern Worldwide, a charity he supports as an Ambassador, the Palace said.

He now lives in NY with his wife and two sons.

The exciting announcement comes weeks after the couple revealed their wedding cake maker, and the florist who will be in charge of creating the floral arrangements on their big day.

Instead of inviting world leaders, then, the couple will extend invitations to 1,200 members of the public, described as "young people who have shown strong leadership, and those who have served their communities".

Many details about Harry and Markle's nuptials have now been released, but they have still managed to keep some things under wraps, including who designed the bride's wedding dress.

That speculation also brought up questions of whether United States President Donald Trump would be invited, as it could be seen as a major snub if Obama was invited and not Trump.
