"Does your humanity come to your mind only when chemical weapons are used? The conscience of the worldwide community carries no doubt to that effect", it added.

On Friday, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan urged his US and Russian counterparts to avoid escalating regional tensions, and build peace in Syria with all sides together.

"We spent the night sleepless and followed the operation", Erdogan said at a rally in Istanbul.

The U.S., the United Kingdom and France hit Syria with air strikes early on Saturday in response to a suspected poison gas attack that killed more than 70 civilians last week, in the biggest intervention by Western powers against Syrian regime leader Bashar al-Assad.

Erdogan told May that the only way to long-lasting peace in Syria was a "political solution", the source added.

He said it would be wrong to expect the previous attacks by the Syrian regime to remain unanswered.

Philadelphia 76ers set sights on Milwaukee Bucks, No. 3 seed
That isn't who we are right now. "We are an old club, with a tremendous amount of culture and a tremendous amount of history". The Philadelphia 76ers are back in the National Basketball Association playoffs for the first time since the 2011-12 season.

"Instead of transferring a massive amount of resources to arms projects, let's use this wealth for the benefit of humanity", said the president. The perpetrators of that heinous assault must be held accountable for their actions.

"Turkey was informed ahead of the attack", he wrote on Twitter.

Turkey is a vocal critic of Assad's regime in Damascus and backed rebels fighting for his ouster.

"It is a serious warning against chemical attacks", Ünal said.

"Erdoğan highlighted the importance of not escalating tensions in Syria even further [to Theresa May]", the report read.
