Mr Corbyn said the Labor Party should have had the "courtesy" to have spoken to him before severing relations.

The dramatic move comes after Mr Corbyn's leadership of labour has been thrown into crisis by repeated anti-Semitism scandals.

"It is my responsibility to acknowledge the hostility you have shown to the Jewish community and the anti-Semitic statements and actions you have allowed as leader of the Labour party United Kingdom", a letter written by Chairman Avi Gabbay to Corbyn reads.

The leader of Israel's Labor Party suspended ties with U.K. Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn on Tuesday, saying he was concerned about anti-Semitism and hatred toward Israeli policies within the British party.

"As such, I write to inform you of the temporary suspension of all formal relations between the Israel Labor Party and the Leader of the Labour Party UK".

But Labour was hit y a fresh anti-Semitism scandal yesterday after it emerged one of the party's minorities officers posted images comparing Israel to the Nazis.

"While there are many areas where our respective parties can and will cooperate, we cannot retain relations with you, leader of Labour Party UK, while you fail to adequately address the antisemitism within Labour Party UK".

I have informed all Labor Israel staff, Members of Knesset, and elected leaders of the Labor Party Israel of the suspension of ties with your office.

Local MP and Shadow Cabinet member Andrew Gwynne has refuted a story in this morning's Sunday Telegraph that links him to membership of a Labour supporters' Facebook pages in which anti-Semitic posts are being shared.

He said: "I think it's council housing, properly funded with direct labour, it's getting the private contractors out of the National Health Service and having it fully funded, properly funded by general taxation, and it's investment in work because I think secure work, where everyone has a place is essential for a coherent society".

"LFI's relationship with the Israeli Labor Party remains unaffected and we will continue our close cooperation". It's deeply disappointing that the fight against antisemitism within the UK Labour Party has come to this.

However, Corbyn's rhetoric does not appear to match with his actions and many in the British Jewish community are losing their patience.

Hundreds protested outside Labour's headquarters on Sunday at the party's failure to crack down on it.

This past week, Corbyn was criticized by the BoD and the Jewish Labour Movement for attending a Passover Seder with the pro-Palestinian Jewish group Jewdas, which is highly critical of mainstream Jewish bodies and has called attacks on Corbyn over anti-Semitism "politicized".
