Aspiring politician Cynthia Nixon says the upset victory of Donald Trump in the presidential election has inspired her to run of governor of NY. Williams managed to ask Nixon why she was not a fan of the Sex and the City 2 scene when Mr. President Trump's astonishing election win also partly inspired her run.
Nixon travelled upstate Wednesday to make her first public upstate appearance outside Albany since announcing her run last month.
"If we don't like the direction our government is going in, we have to step up and get involved like never before", Nixon said.
When the subject on the show turned to the legalization of marijuana, Nixon said she was "absolutely" for it. To put all of the chatter about her being a "celebrity candidate" to rest. She quickly noted that she and the cast still loved all the clothes, but how the film wrapped everything up was not ideal.

He then noticed a vehicle matching the description and veering back over from the wrong lane on River Road. This requires a court appearance for going 21 miles per hour or more over the posted speed limit.
"There is so much we can do to really be an alternative to Donald Trump", she said.
"She's a hard worker like me", Nixon said of her character. "But I have to say when Andrew Cuomo ran eight years ago he was a celebrity because he was the son of Mario Cuomo". "I think that we're at a real watershed moment now", she added in reference to stricter gun control and March for Our Lives which she attended with her youngest daughter. "For me I'm running as a New Yorker ... as a public school parent". Aside from the fact that Andrew Cuomo, a two-term Democrat, is a tough opponent for the gubernatorial race, she was recently criticized for her sexual orientation and called an unqualified lesbian.
Nixon also addressed the tragic shooting and death of an unarmed African-American man, Stephon Clark. I thought wow; that's not really what you love about the show.
During the "Sex and the City" star's first national television interview aired Wednesday on "The Wendy Williams Show", Nixon called black women the "cornerstone" and "backbone" of the Democratic Party. Nixon then made a very valid point that "black women are going to stop showing up for the Democratic Party if the Democratic Party doesn't start showing up for them".
