Police found a vehicle matching the caller's description and pulled it over for a traffic infraction, authorities said. While initially refusing to leave, Tomshack eventually did leave the residence and was later taken into custody at his own home.

Windsor police turned him over to Peel officers.

Police also recovered three arms, including two lost guns of two police sergeants, from the spot.
